THE ORGANISATION

Disability information Service in Perthshire (D.I.S.I.P) is a recognised Scottish Charity. It was established by people with disabilities to resolve some of the problems that they themselves had encountered in obtaining information. Its aim is to assist individuals to make informed choices through the provision of current, relevant and accurate information helping them live life on their own terms.

We have created an additional service within D.I.S.I.P to specifically support individuals living with a long-term health condition. This service supports individuals to develop a better understanding of their condition, learn self-management skills and gain a greater sense of control and involvement in the management of their own condition.
